In early April, we headed down to Marseille for the 5th edition of Cartoon Next. This European event has become a key milestone for exploring the future of multiplatform animation!
It was a fantastic opportunity for exchange, bringing together over 250 international professionals to discuss the new challenges and opportunities in our industry.
Pitching Fortiche Mini-Series: Miss Saturne:
It was in this inspiring setting that Annelyse Vieilledent (Fortiche & Les Storygraphes) and Marianne Lévy-Leblond (Arte France) took the stage to present our project, Miss Saturne.
In front of an audience of enthusiasts and experts, they shared the ambition behind this mini-series, a project born from a close and passionate collaboration between our teams and Arte Numérique.
Bringing animation to the digital realm:
Beyond its striking visual identity, the presentation highlighted the deeper reflection driving the project: how can we tell a story today by embracing new digital habits?
Miss Saturne is a bold story that creates a bridge between generations:
- An 80s-inspired aesthetic and a New Wave vibe that will resonate with those who grew up with these iconic styles and those craving their revival
- A narrative anchored in today’s energy, exploring the tumultuous lives of modern-day teenagers.
Creating truly intergenerational work is an opportunity to use digital platforms as modern narrative levers! By adapting our visual & narrative approach to new consumption habits, we aim to reach our audience wherever they are, without ever compromising the artistic excellence that defines cinema and animation!
