Fortiche: What is your role on the project or at Fortiche?

The Animation Fix comes right after the Animation department. My role is to smooth out the small details, to make sure they are nice and coherent (contact between objects, crushing of fingertips), that the 3D is usable by the following departments, while keeping the essence and the soul that the animation put in it!

F: Why did you choose this career path?

‍

I always wanted to work in cinema, especially in animation, as a child I was fascinated by cartoons, especially the King and the Bird! I love the Fix department, even if it's not my vocation, it's connected to all the other departments and I love that :D

F: Can you tell us about your career ?

‍

After some wandering (art school, ESAD), I entered Waide Somme, a small 3D school in Amiens. I did an internship in Fix Anim at Mikros, which allowed me, once I graduated, to go to Canada. When I came back to France, I had the opportunity to apply to Fortiche in Fix Anim. I discovered the CFX department at the end of production thanks to internal exchanges and it was great, I learned a lot!

F: How long have you been working with Fortiche?

Over a year!

F: What is your best memory at Fortiche or do you have an anecdote to share with us?

‍

Rather than choosing a good memory, I'll say that I don't have any bad ones! Because otherwise I'm going to tell you about my discovery of coffee machines when I arrived and the quality of life, while praising the humans! I really like my life in this studio! But if I have to choose, the wrap party at the end of season 1, was just INCREDIBLE, I have stars in my eyes just thinking about it :D
