Martin Bailly (our Matte Painting Supervisor) and Philippe Llerena (our CTO) rocked the stage on May 8th & 9th!

They kicked things off with our collaboration with The Foundry, diving deep into how Mari (tech tool – you know) was essential for achieving that unique, hand-painted look that Arcane is known for – It was fascinating to see just how much artistry and technical skill goes into creating that distinctive style – for every frame to be work of art!

Then on Friday, Philippe and Martin tag-teamed to present ‘The (Hex) Tech of Arcane Season 2.’ They gave everyone an insider look at the technical and artistic leaps we made this season. Philippe talked about the challenges and triumphs of scaling up production, while Martin showed how we amplified those stunning, painterly environments while still keeping that handcrafted feel, even with all the 3D wizardry at play.

FMX 2025 was a whirlwind of inspiration, learning, and connecting with so many talented people! It was a real honor to share our expertise! Huge thanks to everyone who joined our sessions! We’re already looking forward to next time!
