Fantoche: Behind the screen in Switzerland
In September, the Fantoche Festival, the Swiss cultural event dedicated to animation, which welcomed over 22,000 entries in a week across its thematic focus, exhibitions, and short films competitions, hosted “A Dive into Arcane 3D Environment” led by Simon Magnan, 3D Environment Supervisor at Fortiche. In front of 160 people, Simon walked through the delicate balance between 2D and 3D that defines our visual identity!
Comic-Con Malaga : Storytelling beyond screens
In September, Bart (Creative Director) and Christine (Head of Content & Executive Producer for Riot productions) took the stage with Matt Costa (Creative Director at Riot Games) at the very first San Diego Comic-Con Malaga (96 000 visitors) ! Before an audience of over 700 fans, the talk sparked a rich conversation on how animation, music, and gaming constantly inspire one another!
ReAnimania: Fortiche, the new chapter
In October, Fortiche headed to Yerevan for the ReAnimania Festival, a gathering of animation talents from across the globe. Cécile Hergeaux-Essame (Head of Productions), Pascal Charrue (Co-founder & Creative Director), and Aurélien Ressencourt (Lead 2D FX) took part in a conference titled “After Arcane: Fortiche, The New Chapter”. The talk explored the road ahead in front of 100 people: new challenges, new creations, and the same vibrant creative spirit that drives our studio forward.
RADI-RAF: Looking ahead!
In November, Philippe Llerena (CTO) and Rémi Viette (Dev Sup) spoke at the RADI-RAF in Angoulême, shining a light on the innovations and challenges shaping the future of animation. It was an opportunity to reflect on transformation across the industry, and reaffirm Fortiche’s ongoing commitment to bold, forward-thinking production.
CINE-CLUB ANIMOTION: Wrapping up the year, Paris-style
To wrap up the year, Arnaud, Jérôme, and Pascal took the stage at Animotion, the brand-new cinema club organized by AFCA at the Majestic Bastille in Paris. Their talk, “Fortiche DNA: Boldness, Experimentation & Pop Culture,” retraced the studio’s journey from daring early music videos to the global success of Arcane. Full house with 200 people, warm energy, and even a few behind-the-scenes surprises, a truly memorable way to end 2025.
